
Class Descriptions & Attire
Ballet class focuses on the foundational techniques of ballet, helping students develop strength, flexibility, and grace. With an emphasis on proper posture and alignment, dancers will learn classic ballet movements and choreography. Jazz is energetic and fun. Students will explore rhythm improvisation, and dynamic movement while learning exciting routines. Hip-Hop is high-energy class teaches the latest hip-hop dance styles and techniques. Dancers will learn to express themselves through choreography and freestyling, all while building confidence and coordination. Contemporary blends elements of ballet and modern dance, the contemporary class encourages creativity and self-expression. In tap students will learn rhythm and timing through the art of tap dancing. The class focuses on footwork techniques and choreography, allowing dancers to create music with their feet.

Our Classes

Tiny Stars
a 1 hour class for 2 ½ - 4 year-olds consisting of 20 minutes of tumbling, 20 minutes of ballet, and 20 minutes of tap. They will perform 1 ballet and 1 tap routine in the recital.

Rising Stars
a 1 hour class for 5 – 6 year-olds consisting of 20 minutes of tumbling, 20 minutes of ballet, and 20 minutes of tap. They will perform 1 ballet and 1 tap routine in the recital.

B-1
a 1 hour class for 7 - 8 year olds consisting of ballet, tap, and jazz. They will perform 1 ballet, 1 tap, and 1 jazz routine in the recital. (9 years old with 1-2 years experience)

B-2
a 1 hour class for 9 – 11 year olds consisting of ballet, tap, and jazz. They will perform 1 ballet, 1 tap, and 1 jazz routine in the recital. These students have had previous ballet, tap, and jazz.

Beginning Intermediate
a 1 hour class for 11 & older with little or no dance experience consisting of ballet, tap, and jazz. They will perform 1 ballet, 1 tap, and 1 jazz routine in the recital.

Intermediate
a 1 ½ hour class for 11 & older with prior dance experience of ballet, tap, and jazz. They will perform 1 ballet, 1 tap, and 1 jazz routine in the recital. This class is for dancers with at least four years of dance experience.

Advance
a 1 ½ hour class for 11 & older with prior dance experience of ballet, tap, and jazz. They will perform 1 ballet, 1 tap, and 1 jazz routine in the recital. This class is for dancers with at least four years of dance experience.

Beginner Hip Hop
a 1 hour class for 6 years old & older with none or little prior experience. They will perform 1 routine in the recital.

Intermediate Hip Hop
a 1 hour class for 6 years old & older with none or little prior experience. They will perform 1 routine in the recital.

Advance Hip Hop
a 1 hour class for 13 years & older with prior experience. They will perform 1 routine in the recital.

Ballet Technique 1
a 1 hour class for 7 years old & older. This class is for beginner students as well as students with some dance experience. This class will not participate in the recital.

Ballet Technique 2
a 1 hour class for ages 9 years & older. This class is for students with ballet experience. This class will not participate in the recital.

Ballet Technique 3
a 1 hour class for ages 12 years & older. This class is for students with ballet experience. This class will not participate in the recital.

Pointe 1
a 1 hour class for ages 10 & older. You must have at least two years of ballet and take a ballet class. They will perform 1 routine in the recital. (You must have instructors approval before getting pointe shoes)

Pointe 2
a 1 hour class for ages 13 & older. You must have at least two years of pointe and take a ballet class. They will perform 1 routine in the recital. (You must have instructors approval before joining this class)

Contemporary
a 1 hour class for ages 9 years & older. They will perform 1 routine in the recital.

Tumbling
a 1 hour class for ages 6 and older. They will perform 1 routine in the recital.

Strength and Conditioning
a 30 minute class for ages 9 and older. This class will not participate in the recital.

Leaps and Turns 1
a 1 hour class for ages 8 years & older. This class is for beginner - beg. intermediate dancers. This class will not participate in the recital.

Leaps and Turns 2
a 1 hour class for ages 12 years & older. This is for advance intermediate - advance level dancers. This class will not participate in the recital.
Dress Code
Wearing proper dance attire is essential for several reasons. Firstly, it allows for a full range of movement, enabling dancers to perform their best without restrictions. Additionally, the right attire provides support and comfort, helping to prevent injuries during practice and performances Lastly, appropriate dance clothing fosters a sense of unity and professionalism within a dance group or class.
*Dancers must dress appropriately for class or they will not be allowed to dance without proper shoes or attire
*Dancers must have hair secured up out of the face, (Bun, French braid, etc.)
*Dancers name needs to be written inside of all dance shoes
*All dancers need a dance bag for their belongings.
*Dancers may wear different color shoes from the previous year to class,
but will need the appropriate color for the recital.
**Please note**
Specific shoe color and tight color for the recital will be announced at the second parent watch. Shoes and tights should be purchased by the end of March for pictures.
